Next Public Hearing Date: January 19, 2026 A Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Township of Spallumcheen at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC on January 19, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. to hear representations on the following matter:
OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING APPLICATION 21-005-OCP/RZ
The Public Hearing will consider OCP and Zoning Bylaw Map Amendments for the following properties:
PID 006-497-853
Lot 1, Section 2, Township 7, ODYD, Plan 13076, except Plans KAP69750 and KAP74425;
PID 006-497-845 The west ½ of Section 1, Township 7, ODYD, except the southwest ¼ thereof, excluding Plans H762, KAP69751 and KAP74528; and
PID: 027-462-030 Lot A, Section 12, Twp 7, ODYD, Plan KAP86345.
Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw 2174,2025 proposes to redesignate the properties:
from: Large Holdings (LH) to: Large Holdings (LH), Industrial (I), and Commercial (C)
as shown on the attached map.
Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2175, 2025 proposes to rezone the properties:
from: Large Holdings (L.H) to: Large Holdings (L.H), Resource Extraction (I.7), and Clean Industrial (I.8)
Copies of the DRAFT Bylaws may be inspected at the office of the Township of Spallumcheen from January 7th, 2026 to January 19th, 2026 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays. PUBLIC HEARING BINDER
If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the subject matter above, you shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the proposals. The Township of Spallumcheen will be receiving written and verbal submissions as follows:
Written submissions: via email to mail@spallumcheentwp.bc.ca, regular mail, or delivered in person to the Township office located at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC, V4Y 0N1. All written submissions should identify the subject as “21-005-OCP/RZ – Public Hearing Input” as the subject of the submission.

*Your name and address must be clearly stated for both verbal and written submissions*
If there is a large number of in-person attendees, Council may recess the Public Hearing to a different venue on a different date.

and b. Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2106, 2023 which proposes to amend the bylaw by rezoning a portion of the property legally described as: PID: 028-340-787 – Lot 1, Section 15, Township 35, KDYD, Plan KAP91348, located at 4726 McLeery Road from: Agricultural (A.2) to: Country Residential (C.R)
