The Township of Spallumcheen would like to inform residents of the McLeod subdivision that road construction work is scheduled to begin in your area between May 11 to June 5, 2026. Okanagan Aggregates has been selected as the contractor who will be undertaking this work. Project updates will be posted here for residents to stay up-to-date about what is happening in your neighbourhood.
Please be aware from, May 11 to 15 2026, McLeod Road from Hwy 97A to Lockhart Drive (as shown on the map below) is scheduled to be closed.
The road will be reopened as soon as construction in this section is completed. Accommodation will be made for local traffic access during the closure for those properties located in the closure area. Drivers are advised to follow the detour with temporary access to the subdivision coming through Mountain View Road. Please ensure that you follow all traffic control personnel and signage.
The Township wants to ensure that you are aware of what is happening in your neighbourhood. Digital sign boards have been posted in the neighbourhood. In addition, letters have been mailed out and hand delivered. A press release will be sent out to ensure that friends and relatives coming from other areas are also aware to expect possible traffic pattern changes or delays. Updates will also be posted on this page and shared via the Township's social media pages on both Facebook and Instagram.
