Fireworks are only permitted between October 24 and November 1 each year and are not permitted outside that time as they are not only a serious fire risk, they cause stress and strain on our agricultural community.
To report the use of fireworks outside of October 24 - November 1, residents are to call 911 and ask for Fire Dispatch.
Should the fire department respond to a fireworks call at your property, and you are found to be in contravention, you may be responsible for the costs associated with the fire call and as well be subject to fines. Please refer to the Township of Spallumcheen Fire Prevention Bylaw for full details.
