Stepney Road Water receded

On Friday, May 19 it was noticed that the creek had begun to overtop its' banks and a small amount of water was visible on Stepney Road. The water on the road has receded over the weekend and the road remains open.  We will continue to monitor due to the rainy forecasts to ensure the road remains passable. Creek Overtopping at Stepney Road; roadway still passable

Township crews continue to monitor creeks throughout the municipality to watch for signs of flooding or overtopping onto roadways. It was noted today that a small amount of water has overtopped at Stepney Road. Small Fire Spotted on Silver Star Mountain

A small fire has been reported about a kilometer from the top of Silver Star Mountain above the McLeod Subdivision area.
