Join Nyree, the Columbia Basin Land Matcher, to learn how you can access land for a farm business or make your land available to a farmer. Nyree will explain how sharing land can be mutually beneficial for farmers and landholders, as well as highlight best practices, relevant regulations and considerations, and tips for building and maintaining a successful land sharing relationship.
You’ll leave the workshop with the knowledge, resources and connections needed to start your own land sharing journey!

DIRECTIONS/PARKING: The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce is located at the intersection of 22nd Street North and Cranbrook Street North (Crowsnest Highway / Highway 95). Free parking is available in the parking lot, or on the adjacent streets. Carpooling is encouraged – if you are looking for or can offer a ride to or from the event, you can organize carpooling through the Facebook event. Please do not bring pets to the event. Join Pascale, the B.C. Land Matching Program Manager, and Haley, the Okanagan-Thompson Land Matcher, to learn how you can access land for a farm business or make your land available to a farmer. Emma Holmes, Regional Agrologist, will also be in attendance to discuss programs, resources and upcoming events for farmers and farm-curious folks in the region.
