The Township has had another successful day managing the Horseshoe Lake Wildfire and extinguishing hotspots. The Wildfire is still considered under control. Crews from the local fire department and BC Wildfire remain on scene throughout the day to attend to any hot spots. The Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) remains active.
Please note that the Mount Rose Swanson hiking trails are open as of Sunday, July 9, 2023.
The next scheduled update will be 10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2023. If anything changes the Township will update our website at www.spallumcheentwp.bc.ca.
