Dust Control
The Township of Spallumcheen would like to advise residents that the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) will be undertaking dust control measures on the access lane to Goose Lake Range Park on May 20, 2026.
This work is part of ongoing efforts to reduce nuisance dust and maintain safe and comfortable access for park users and nearby residents. During the application, there may be minor, temporary disruptions or delays in the immediate area. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is completed.
Please note that, when dust control activities are occurring throughout the community, updates and scheduling information are posted on the Township of Spallumcheen website. Residents are encouraged to refer to the website moving forward for the most current information regarding dust control programs and related notices as individual notices are not normally sent out for this service.
Temporary Road Closure
As part of the ongoing review of traffic control measures in the area, the Township of Spallumcheen, in conjunction with the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO), will be installing speed bumps along the access lane to Goose Lake Range Park on June 3, 2026, weather dependent. Any delays of this work due to weather will be posted on our website and signage will be posted in the area.
Please be advised that there will be no access to the lane on June 3, 2026, while the work is underway and to allow adequate time for the speed bumps to cure.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to enhance safety in the area.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Township office.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
