At the direction of the Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Department and the BC Wildfire Service, the campfire ban/prohibition put into effect on August 28, 2025 will be lifted on September 29, 2025 at noon.
Please note that Open Burning is not yet permitted within the Township. Open air burning of Non-compostable vegetation is PERMITTED in the Township of Spallumcheen from November 1 each year to April 30 of the following year unless a fire ban has been issued by the Fire Chief.
